Let's do some self-check.
Maybe a bad habit : I sleep late and wake up late. I simply sleep when I feel like it and wake up naturally when I'm ready. The important thing is not when I sleep and wake up, but how I feel before bed and after waking up. Is it really bad for the skin to sleep late? Is it necessary to wake up at a specific time aligned with sunrise? I strongly dislike that idea.
Not sure if it's good or bad : Basic skincare is done with just a few products. I apply a lightweight, moisturizing cream to my skin and sometimes use eye cream for the undereye area, but there are times when I skip it out of laziness. The crucial thing is to moisturize the skin after washing, especially when the water dries out along with the moisture from the face. I don't pay much attention to other aspects.
A good habit : Sunscreen is a must during the summer. I skip it during winter because I find it bothersome. However, I remember my grandmother always applying sunscreen even indoors during the summer...
It seems that the skin's condition can be affected by the climate. The climate that suits each person's skin type may vary. In my case, when I went to a hot country like Indonesia, my skin regenerated remarkably well.
I follow certain dietary guidelines, but I don't refrain from eating when I'm hungry just because it's nighttime. I eat whenever I feel like it. However, I try to choose foods that are better for my body.
A good habit : I drink approximately 1.5 liters of water a day. I keep a water bottle nearby because I get uncomfortable with dryness in my throat when I don't drink enough.
Not sure if it's good or bad : I consciously stay in environments that are more humid than dry places and moderately cool rather than overly hot places, as they seem to be better for the skin. For instance, after taking a shower, I intentionally keep the room humid without opening the window to keep my skin soft. Also, if the kitchen becomes humid due to a rice cooker, I enjoy that atmosphere. In the summer, I use air conditioning to regulate the temperature, making sure it's cool and refreshing for sleep.
When it's hot, it can improve blood circulation and be good for the skin, or it can enlarge pores and be bad for the skin. Honestly, I don't know which one is true, but I prefer cooler places because they make me feel good, so I just lower the temperature.
