I started Zazzle, and...

First, I attempted to start on Redbubble. However, I wasn't pleased with the way my designs automatically got attached to each product, and it seemed like the customization options were quite limited.

So, I turned to Zazzle. It's not that I have a strong attachment to Zazzle. If there's an easier and better platform with a similar level of customization as Zazzle, I would consider trying that website as well.

As an international seller, Zazzle required me to fill out a W-8BEN form. It's a tax-related document for non-U.S. citizens who earn money from a U.S.-based company, perhaps from online activities.

In any case, they required me to fill out the form and send it to their email.

The number of products people upload and the time it takes to get the first sale can vary greatly. Someone mentioned that they uploaded 25-40 products each day. I'm planning to do the same until I make my first sale. Zazzle requires a CAPTCHA if the number of products exceeds around 10(not sure) per day, which is quite annoying.

Society 6 appears to be a similar website to Zazzle. I connected my PayPal account and verified it by paying 1 dollar. Actually, for a Korean user like me, it ended up being 2 dollars due to PayPal fees, currency conversion rates, etc.

Later, when I logged in through another computer, they required verification again. WTF? I returned to Zazzle and hope that their customer service will respond soon.

Uploading designs and applying them to products on Zazzle was actually quite enjoyable. I've always wanted to create these small lifestyle-oriented items, and just being a creator on Zazzle fulfills that desire. There's no hassle of production at all, and I absolutely love it.

I hope I can generate some income from it as well.
